OVO Energy are a forward thinking energy company, with keen eye for emerging technologies and a passion for sustainability in how we use and consume energy. With the rise in popularity of e-bikes and sustainability at the heart of their company values, OVO saw an opportunity in sponsoring the Tour of Britain cycling race. They were keep to support this sponsorship with a range of video content across multiple platforms.
Huxley worked with OVO to define a suite of video content in support of their tour sponsorship, ranging from social media outputs, conference outputs, internal comms films, promotional spots for TV coverage, and animated content for the big screen at the event.
The video campaign complemented the event and sponsorship at multiple touch points, gaining tens of thousands of impressions at the Tour events, stacks of shares on social media, and great exposure as part of the Tour TV coverage. We have learned from and refined the video campaign year on year, reallocating resource to the most impactful parts of the previous year's campaign to maximise efficiency and reduce costs.
