Ruby Trilogy

Project Overview

Huxley collaborated with award-winning artist Emma Allen to create Ruby, an animated self-portrait exploring the idea of rebirth and illustrating the transfer of energy from one incarnation to another. It took five painstaking days to paint and film this stop frame animation. The film picked up a Vimeo Staff Pick, has received no shortage of praise on the festival circuit and was widely featured in the press, reaching The Guardian homepage amongst others. This success lead to a further two episodes in the series, Santiago and Adam, each earning even more awards and column inches respectively.
